What's to be found here?

Out of roughly ten quintillion blogs, you've alighted on this one.  I have no idea why.  I can only assume that you know me.  Of course, if you know me, there's little reason to read a blog by me.  It's not as though I'm shy about sharing my opinions in person.
It's not as though I have anything unique and insightful to say about politics, philosophy, religion, work, life, children, the New York Times' effect on man, or anything else.  If I'm saying something, odds are good it's been said better by someone else, somewhere else?
Still here?  So be it.  Here's what you can expect: stories, random musings on EMS/Fire stuff, politics, fitness, cars, and whatever the hell else I want to blather on about.  That is, after all the point of a blog, right?
Sometimes-not often, but sometimes, I may say something to interest or amuse you.  More often, I'll probably offend you.  You've been warned.
Consider yourself also warned that I sometimes use polysyllabic words.  Just as often, I use profane words.  My opinions are not orthodox, and will probably eventually shock and/or offend pretty much everyone.
Still in?
I can't imagine why.  But feel free to read on.
